The StormBasin is a cartridge-based catch basin insert filter that removes and treats various stormwater pollutants like sediment, trash, nutrients, bacteria, oils/grease, and heavy metals. It utilizes proprietary filter cartridges that can be customized to target specific pollutants of concern.

How It Works

1. Stormwater enters the basin, with a coarse foam layer prefiltering out particulates.
2. The pretreated water then passes through the selected filter cartridge(s) targeting pollutants like bacteria, metals, hydrocarbons, etc.
3. Treated water exits the cartridge bottom into the storm drain system.
4. Solids and debris are captured in the basin’s sediment storage area.
5. The PLUS series includes a hooded bypass to handle extreme flows while retaining captured pollutants.
